Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky and Greek Minister of Macedonia-Thrace Theodoros Karaoglou attended the inauguration of the restored Russian-interest hotel “Pomegranate” in Potidea, Halkidiki, on Thursday.
The two officials expressed their optimism for the strenthening of the tourism flow from Russia to Greece. “Our country has the tourism culture and the business experience to preserve and further strengthen the tourism flow” Theodoros Karaoglou said.
Referring to the new hotel, he called it the largest tourism investment of the latest years in Northern Greece and added that the relations of the two countries are very good and this is reflected in the positive developments in business.
On his part, the Russian Minister made a reference to the relations between the countries, their mutual ties and traditions.
