Greek panorama in Sweden

The 2nd Grekland Panorama will offer travel, cuisine and real estate opportunities at the Ericsson Globe from February 13-15, 2015

Newsroom July 3 08:22

Grekland Panorama 2015, organized by Oslo-based communication agency North Events, started the campaign called “Your Second Home in Greece!” in an effort to attract potential home buyers to Greece from Sweden. The campaign will be held in the framework of the 2nd Grekland Panorama exhibition taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, from February 13-15, 2015, at the Ericsson Globe.

The panorama casts the focus on Greek travel, cuisine and real estate opportunities. The first day of the event will include a comprehensive program for Greek tourism professionals with educational seminars and lectures for special and thematic tourism forms such as golf, yachting, alternative tourism, health tourism and luxury travel. Greek professionals will be present for meetings with their Scandinavian and Baltic counterparts.

“This is a unique opportunity for Greece to take the initiative and attract buyers from one of the most lucrative and stable economies in Europe,” writes North Events in its press release announcing the event. The steady economy makes Swedes among the most fanatic real estate buyers across Europe. Though it is common for Swedes to buy properties in the countries they vacation, the Greek real estate sector has been absent from the Scandinavian market with Swedes choosing instead to buy properties in Spain, Turkey, Italy, France and Portugal.

North East hopes to change all that and open the door to the Greek market at a time when the price is right.

At last year’s first Grekland Panorama there were over 7,000 visitors during the two days. There were 115 exhibitors from 22 Greek destinations and the fair was so successful that the organizer’s have taken it to a larger venue – the Ericsson Globe Arena that covers an area of 4,000 square meters.
