The Greek coast guard and port authorities have been placed on alert to cope with increased traffic on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the three-day holiday. Specifically, they are on call at Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio ports ahead of a three-day holiday.
Ticket reservations for the Cycladic islands have reached 80-100%, while most tickets for Crete, the Eastern Aegean, the Dodecanese and the Argosaronic Gulf islands have been already sold.
According to port authorities, on Wednesday 20 boats had been scheduled to leave Piraeus while another 10 would depart from Rafina and 5 from Lavrio.
