iPhones now more affordable than ever: Aggeliopolis.gr study shows

Research shows drop in iPhone 4 prices and a huge increase in relevant searches

Data released by AggelioPolis.gr, a leading online buy and sell classifieds website showed that searches from their users for “iPhones” have increased 70% in the last 2 months, since mid October. Furthermore this research shows that the prices of iPhone 4’s are at all time lows, dropping 10€ in the past 4 months to an average of 210€ on the site. This comes in light of the official release of the iPhone 6 on the 31st of October.

Spokesperson, Harry Antarakis, stated that “now is the perfect time to grab a bargain on previous iPhone versions.” In addition he mentioned, “this is a great opportunity to take advantage of AggelioPolis.gr’s huge buyer base of over 100.000 users for those who want to sell their iPhones and earn some extra money.”

Other interesting user behaviors coming from their data includes:

  • iPhone 5 searches from interested buyers have increased 90% in October compared to September
  • During the same period, iPhone searches were 90% higher than all other Android devices searches combined
  • Even though none of the two iPhone 6 versions (iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus) have yet been presented in the Greek market, a significant growth in relevant searches is observed: 300% rise in searches in October compared to September.
