A Greek hotel among the most colorful in the world (photos)

Semiramis in Athens stands out as an ode to modern art

Newsroom February 3 10:19

Condé Nast Traveler has included an amazing Greek hotel in its list of beautiful, colorful places you can stay for a “brighter” vacation. The hotels featured in the prestigious travel magazine’s list “don’t just integrate color into their design scheme” but use color as their main design scheme!

Among the seven businesses in the list, Semiramis in Athens stands out as an ode to modern art.

The creation of interior architect and designer Karim Rashid and art collector Dakis Joannou, it offers 52 rooms blanketed in color, with “light-box art installations above the beds and translucent furniture in vibrant hues.”

The article makes specific reference to the colorful public areas and the house gallery space for art exhibitions and features a photo of the hotel pool with its green, blue, and pink tiles.
