Start-up SkyGreece Airlines kicks off its services from Toronto to Athens, Thessaloniki and Croatian capital Zagreb this summer following relevant approvals from the Greek and Canadian authorities.

The year-round services are being launched on May 17 and will operate three times a week with a weekly seasonal direct flight to Thessaloniki starting May 20, increasing to twice a week for the 2015-2016 winter season. A weekly Montreal-Athens flight will also be launched on May 23.

SkyGreece Airlines was founded in Athens in October 2012 by a team of Greek-Canadian entrepreneurs who have extensive backgrounds in aviation and tourism. The company is headquartered in Greece.
