Former Greek PM and leader of leftist SYRIZA party expressed his optimism about Sunday’s election result, speaking to Italian network Sky Italia, Saturday. Tsipras said the pre-election campaign was tough, adding however, that after his main campaign rally Friday in Athens he felt optimistic about the outcome of the results. “Everything will depend on the percentage we get tomorrow, if we are close to absolute majority and that will depend on the parties that will enter parliament and if we are able to collaborate with them”, said Tsipras. When Tsipras found out the crew was from Italian Sky he jokingly said he would have gotten a higher percentage.
