The Telegraph published a list with the 10 ancient places that one should definitely visit.

The historian and broadcaster Mary Beard reveals 10 of her favourite classical sites commenting “it’s always exciting to follow, literally, in the footsteps of the ancient Romans – or of the Greeks, or the Egyptians, or any of the shadowy inhabits of the past.”

Among the classical sites one should see are The Acropolis and Delphi in Greece.
