Greece is among the top wedding destinations in 4 continents, according to a survey conducted by Dubai-based event planner QnA. The Mediterranean region featured prominently in the responses of those asked, as apart from Greece, Italy, France and Spain were also top picks for couples. Greece is included in the list of countries as top destinations for couples from North America and Europe, while it is considered an up and coming choice for the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. The global wedding destination market is estimated at $80bln, representing 27% of the global wedding market. North America has the highest share of the wedding destination market with 30%, followed by Asia with 22%. Europe comes in third with 20% of the market that corresponds to $16bln.
