Crazed Greek women ‘worship’ Turkish actor! (photos-video)

He appeared in Athens to promote new film

Newsroom October 14 08:19

With all the delirium and crazed Greek female fans’ reactions going on outside the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation on Thursday, someone would have been mistaken to think that a mega-Hollywood star like Mat Damon or Brad Pitt was in town. But no. This is Greece, where a protagonist called Burak Ozcivit, who stars in a Turkish TV series called “Kara Sevda”, suddenly found himself surrounded by screaming women between the ages of 15 and 30 who wanted to simply see and get an autograph from their idol. The crazed fans were shouting out his name with some crying, adulating the Turkish actor during his visit in Athens when he appeared outside the Foundation on Thursday. The actor was in Athens as part if the promotion of a film festival called “Turkish Film Days”, where the screening of the movie titled “My Brother”, the star of which is Ozcivit will take place. During a press conference Marianna Vardinoyannis award him with the ELPIDA star for his contribution to charity.
