Turkey insults the Greek President Pavlopoulos! (VIDEO)

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs seems out of control

Newsroom March 9 01:13

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Melvut Cavusoglu, is trying to test the nerves and the patience of the Greek diplomacy. In a new provocative and cocky statement, they insulted the Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos by saying, “we are happy that the President’s wish is to develop good relations with our country. However, we observe with interest and we are surprised with his observations that show a serious lack of knowledge of the basic principles of the International Law”.

It should be reminded that President Pavlopoulos is a prominent Professor of Administrative Law.

Cavusoglu seems as if he wants to destroy Turkey’s diplomatic relations with almost everybody. After his insulting statements towards Germany he now turns his attention to Greece again.

The Turkish statement was the answer to Pavlopoulos’ statement that although Greece wants good relations with all its neighbors it will not fail to defend its sovereign right in the Aegean Sea.

In the announcement, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs repeats its theory of the “demilitarized islands” stating the Turkey’s “fundamental right” to react against the Greek military activity in the Aegean Sea, as “it is based on Turkish view of the International Law and it is a duty that is relevant with the preservation of peace and stability in the region”!…

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs answered by stating that, “knowing the International Law means respecting and not violating it”.
