Two members of Cuba's UN Mission asked to leave US over "harmful activities"

Two members of Cuba’s delegation to the United Nations have been asked to leave the US just as the annual UN General Assembly in New York is getting underway.

After 2 members of Cuba’s UN mission engaged in activities harmful to U.S. national security, we asked them to leave the U.S. Members of Cuba’s UN mission are also restricted to stay in Manhattan. We take any & all attempts against the National Security of the U.S. seriously.

“After 2 members of Cuba’s UN mission engaged in activities harmful to US national security, we asked them to leave the US,” tweeted US State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus on Thursday afternoon. “Members of Cuba’s UN mission are also restricted to stay in Manhattan. We take any & all attempts against the National Security of the US seriously.”
