Bill Gates’s $645million yacht will be powered by liquid hydrogen (amazing photos)

It is expected to be ready for the water around 2024

Newsroom February 10 10:30

Bill Gates, the Microsoft tycoon who has been a top contender for the world’s richest person for decades, recently purchased a luxurious superyacht that will be powered entirely by liquid hydrogen, and it is believed that the billionaire spent roughly $645million on the vessel.

However, it might be a few years before the 64-year-old is able to travel on his new purchase, as it is not expected to be ready for the water until 2024. The price tag seems even more remarkable when considering that the yacht is not even built yet, it is just a design concept, which was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show, and must have caught the eye of Mr. Gates.
