Vienna Attack: Jihadist was Albanian from Skopje, born & raised in Austria

He was deemed by the authorities as incapable of such acts

Newsroom November 3 12:46
The main perpetrator of the attack in Vienna on Monday afternoon that led to the death of four people, two men and two women, had allegedly announced the bloodshed that would follow on Instagram.

According to the Daily Mail, 20-year-old
Fejzulai Kujtim has Albanian roots, his parents are from Skopje but he was born and raised in Austria.
The Instagram account in question has now been removed with the Austrian authorities investigating its authenticity.

In one photo dressed in black he holds a Zastava M70 gun, a pistol and a large knife. According to BILD, the man wrote in his post a part of the oath of allegiance given by the jihadists.

Although the 20-year-old wanted to join the Islamic State in Syria, the Austrian police considered him “incapable of planning terrorist attacks”.
