A man appeared at a police station in southeastern France and confessed to killing another man, showing as evidence of what he had done, the victim’s head and genitals, which he was carrying in a backpack.

The police clarified to the French Agency that the 38-year-old perpetrator “showed a human head” and “was immediately taken into custody”.

The detainee was known to the authorities for various minor offenses.

Investigations continue at the crime scene, the 38-year-old’s home.
