The new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus that were recorded in Greece in the last 24 hours amount to 7,163, according to the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY).

The number of possible new re-infections was 1,025 while since the beginning of the pandemic the total number is estimated at 147,387 (4% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 9, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 30,079 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 99 (58.6% men). Their median age is 69 years. 91.9% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

Among intubated patients, 46 (46.46%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 53 (53.54%) are fully vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,711 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
