An explosion occurred this morning at a factory in the industrial area in Patras, as a result of which two workers were injured.

According to information from pelop.gr, the explosion occurred in a fish feed plant, in a machine that dries the materials. Two factory workers were injured, both sustaining head injuries, and as noted by the president of the Patras Labour Center Dimitris Marmouras, they were taken to the Hospital, where they were given first aid, and then left for their homes.

The case has now been taken over by the Labour Inspectorate, in order to ascertain the circumstances under which the accident occurred.
