How the script handled the loss of the central character played by Michael Constantine.

Newsroom May 3 01:13

The new sequel to the now iconic comedy “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3” is coming this fall and pays tribute to one of its stars, actor Michael Constantine, who died in 2021 at the age of 94.

According to the new script, the Portokalos family visits Greece to fulfill the last wishes of the character played by Michael Constantine, the patriarch Gus Orange. So let’s prepare for a lot of shots from our country.

Of course, for one more time in the production, we have Rita Wilson of Greek origin, and Tom Hanks, who is an honourary naturalised Greek.
