Greek authorities issued orders for the precautionary evacuation of the areas of Kallithea, Pefkia, and Irini

A large fire in a forest area in Kallithea Loutraki is raging on Monday afternoon.

Homes and the sports camp have begun to be evacuated. Greek authorities issued orders for the precautionary evacuation of the areas of Kallithea, Pefkia, and Irini.

The fire is above the sports camp. The Warning 112 message was sent about the fire.

“If you are in the areas of Kallithea, Pefkia, Irini, and Corinthia, evacuate to Loutraki,” says the message. There are 54 firefighters on site with 19 vehicles and a pedestrian section, while 3 aircraft and 2 helicopters operate from the air.
