PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to receive the Indian Prime Minister

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Athens and was greeted with enthusiasm by members of the Indian community, Friday morning.

The Indian Prime Minister was welcomed at the airport by Foreign Minister George Gerpaetritis, while Modi himself wrote on Twitter/X.

Meanwhile, the Indian Prime Minister thanked the Indian community for the warm welcome, stating: “Amidst the historic landscapes of Greece, the warmth and hospitality of the Indian community shines brightly. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their warm welcome.”

PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to receive the Indian Prime Minister, who is on an official visit to Greece, at 11:00 am on Friday at the Maximou Mansion.

The two leaders will have a private meeting, followed by extended talks between the delegations of the two countries and then statements to the press.

Earlier, at 10:20, he will be received by the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, followed by a decoration ceremony.
At 13:00 Kyriakos Mitsotakis will host a working lunch for the Indian Prime Minister, with the participation of Greek and Indian businessmen.
