According to an indictment drafted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and submitted to the court in August, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is reorganizing in a number of countries, including Turkey. The indictment was prepared following May operations carried out across 23 Turkish provinces. It came to light that ISIS had established a fresh framework operating under the guise of a bookstore. The police had detained 74 suspects during an operation ordered by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
