Margot Robbie comes in second - Check out the Forbes list in detail

Newsroom March 8 06:13

Adam Sandler is the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, as he tops the corresponding list for 2023, according to the American magazine ‘Forbes’.

The actor’s success on Netflix, where he appeared in three films and also took part in their production, led him to become $73 million richer, the magazine reports.

This brought him above the star of ‘Barbie,’ Margot Robbie, who at 33 became the youngest actress on the list.

She was also a producer on the film, which was the highest-grossing success of 2023, as well as in the cult hit ‘Saltburn.’

Tom Cruise is third on the list, with Ryan Gosling jointly fourth with Matt Damon and Jennifer Aniston, Sandler’s co-star in ‘Murder Mystery,’ in sixth place.

‘Murder Mystery 2’ was the fifth most-viewed Netflix film of last year, with 173 million hours watched.

As reported by the BBC, this is the first time Sandler has topped the magazine’s list since 2002.
