Newsroom March 19 12:39

Shocking are the details of the action of the pimping ring dismantled by the Department for the Protection of Minors and, as revealed by the police investigation, exploited seven underage girls by pushing them into prostitution.

Two women aged 25 and 21 and two men aged 25 and 54 were arrested in the case for the offence of serial, one-time and repeated human trafficking, while six other persons were included in the case file prepared by the authorities.

As follows from the report of protothema.gr, “leading role” in the case has a 25-year-old named Maria, who allegedly, according to the evidence collected by the Greek police, developed contact with the minors from the summer of 2023 and facilitated them in finding “customers” for paid erotic encounters, taking of course part of the money they gained.

In particular, for her “services” Maria allegedly received usually 50 to 100 euros depending on the money received by the minors (200 – 400 euros), while many times she also performed the role of escort, taking the girls to the appointments herself.

It is also noteworthy that some of the “clients” who were meeting with the minors, in agreement with the 25-year-old, provided them with drugs, in particular cocaine, as a reward instead of money.
