Weather forecast: Temperatures are higher than usual for this season

The weather forecast for the following days.

Forecast for Monday, 15-04-2024:
Generally sunny weather. From midday, scattered clouds will develop, which will thicken in the west by evening. Winds will be variable at 2 to 4 on the Beaufort scale, blowing from northerly directions at 4 to 5, locally reaching 6 Beaufort in the southern Aegean during the morning hours. From midday, they will turn southerly at 3 to 5 Beaufort. Temperatures will experience a slight increase, mainly in the east, ranging very high for the season. Inland areas will reach 30 to 32 degrees Celsius, island regions 26 to 28, and locally in the eastern Aegean up to 29 degrees Celsius.

Forecast for Tuesday, 16-04-2024:
Initially in the west and gradually spreading across the country, clouds will temporarily increase with local showers, mainly from midday in the northwest and possibly in the evening in other western and northern inland areas. Transport of African dust is favored. Winds will blow from southerly directions at 3 to 5, locally reaching 6 Beaufort over seas. Temperatures will decrease by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius from the maximum values.

Forecast for Wednesday, 17-04-2024:
Intermittently increased cloudiness across the country with local showers. Sporadic thunderstorms will occur in the Ionian and inland areas, mainly in the west and north, possibly spreading to the eastern Aegean islands in the afternoon. Transport of African dust is favored. Winds will be southerly southeast at 4 to 6, locally reaching 7 Beaufort over seas, turning westerly from midday with the same intensity. Temperatures will experience a slight further decrease across the country.

Few clouds intermittently increasing in the west, north, and eastern island regions with local showers. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the north. Mostly clear weather with few intermittent clouds in the rest of the country. Transport of African dust is favored in the southeast. Winds will blow westerly in the west and southwesterly in the east at 4 to 6, locally reaching 7 Beaufort in the southern Aegean. Temperatures will experience a further decrease, mainly in the west and north.
