Athina Oikonomakou: She was singing ‘Love hurts’ a week before the announcement of the divorce – The video on TikTok

The actress split with Filippos Michopoulos after 10 years together

Newsroom May 2 02:41

A few days before her split with Filippos Mihopoulos, Athena Ikonomakou posted a video on TikTok, in which she sings the song ‘Louloudi tou Dromou’ (Flower of the street).

The couple, who have two children together, have decided to go their separate ways after 10 years of marriage, according to a statement sent to the media by a PR firm.

In it, they say they are ending their marriage and stress that their children will unite them forever. They also make a ‘strong recommendation to the media to handle the matter with sensitivity and respect’.

A week before, Athina Oikonomakou had posted a video on her personal TikTok account, in which she sings in her car.

Although at the time, it was not known that the couple was ending their marriage, the song the actress chose to listen to seemed to have meaning for her, as it talks about separation.

Woman filed for divorce because… ChatGPT told her that her husband was cheating on her

The lyrics state: “Wet papers and words drowned in love’s black bottom, and I say they weren’t written for me so I could get through this too. That all I care for in you all looks alike and it’s dangerous to deny it, to pretend again that I don’t want you I decide to get dressed and go out. To not believe that love hurts. Now I am in the night, in the middle of the world like a flower in bloom. Love hurts and that’s something, comfort and hope to look forward to. Like a flower in bloom… cut for another love… But quietly time is winning and it’s dangerous to stay here. My home now is the way to be able to pass this too.”
