Patras: My wife left two hours after the surgery, they said to her it was a painless process

Chará's husband expressed there were no preoperative or postoperative checks performed on his wife following her liposuction

Newsroom May 29 06:58

“We have lost the ground beneath our feet. Chará was our home, as my daughter described it, like the golden blanket that covered us all. We still haven’t realized it. We don’t want to live with this.” These were the heartbreaking words by Chará’s husband whose wife died after a routine liposuction procedure.

“There are too many questions. It wasn’t an illness. Something happened, and Chará is ‘gone,'” he added speaking to Mega Channel.

Chará underwent liposuction in Athens after being reassured by the plastic surgeon. However, no pre-operative or post-operative checks were conducted. Just two hours after the procedure, she left the clinic. Her husband spoke to her after the operation, and she mentioned discomfort but downplayed it. The next day, she planned to return for adjustments but tragically passed away before then. Her husband describes the sudden turn of events within 36-38 hours as unimaginable leaving many questions unanswered.
