For a while now, the police authorities in Kalamata have been dealing with a heartbreaking narrative reminiscent of the “Kostalex” incident. At its core is a 29-year-old woman compelled by her parents to reside within improvised wooden enclosures due to what her relatives assert is a severe psychosomatic ailment. This condition has led her to exhibit aggression and pose a danger to other members of the family.

The case began in July 2022 when the Kalamata Police Department received a prosecutor’s order to investigate the illegal detention and exposure of a 29-year-old woman.
