A fire broke out in the early hours of Friday near the “Kranos” area in Seich Sou forest, Thessaloniki. The police detained an individual in connection with the incident. According to reports, the person detained was found close to the fire and is suspected of arson.

The fire started just before 7:30 AM, triggering an immediate response from the Fire Department, which dispatched 18 firefighters and six water trucks to the scene. Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.
