Lytras: His wife’s fear that he wouldn’t take her to the hospital & her attempt to notify the police

Sophia Polyzogopoulou is in a state of shock - How she tried to show what happened to her

Newsroom June 18 06:57

The wife of lawyer Apostolos Lytras remains in shock after the brutal attack she suffered from the criminal lawyer in the early hours of last Sunday inside their car.

According to information from protothema.gr, on the afternoon of Monday (17/6), the lawyer’s wife contacted a senior Security officer to get updated information about the panic button, which she is expected to install on her phone today.

Moreover, during her conversation with the police officers, the same sources state that the woman confided in them that after the attack by her husband, she feared she would die and that he wouldn’t take her to the hospital.

Her voice sounded very troubled, and referring to her initial testimony, where she mentioned falling down the stairs, she noted that she said this because she was afraid of the lawyer.

She added that she requested the panic button to signal to the police that she had been abused.

She explained that although she mentioned a fall due to fear, she simultaneously expressed a desire for a panic button so the police would understand something was wrong.

This was confirmed by the doctor’s testimony and was finally admitted publicly by the lawyer himself yesterday, after the decision to release him.

He claimed that he “could not explain” what happened and added that he would seek help.
