Anya Taylor-Joy will star in the TV adaptation of Bella Mackie’s bestseller, How to Kill Your Family.

The actress, who first appeared on Netflix in the mini-series The Queen’s Gambit and won great acclaim from viewers, will portray Grace Bernard.

The series will air on Netflix and will consist of eight episodes, as announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival.

“It’s thrilling to watch the characters I wrote come to life under this wonderful creative team. Anya is the perfect choice to play Grace. I often think she understands her better than I do,” said the author.
