An explosion – the sixth since June and the third in the last ten days – occurred overnight in central Cologne, this time in a recently opened cafe on the ground floor of an apartment building.

According to police, the explosion occurred at 2:45 (local time), and the apartment building was immediately evacuated. Two people were slightly injured by the fire that broke out, while the cafe was destroyed.

According to BILD, police are focusing their investigation into the repeated bombings in Cologne on the Mocro mafia operating in North Rhine-Westphalia.
