Newsroom October 7 03:20

John Catsimatidis Jr. married his beloved, Megan, at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity on 74th Street in New York City.

The couple arrived at the cathedral together, joined by the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and the groom’s sister, Andrea, who awaited them in front of the altar.

Andrea, the groom’s sister, shared a video of the event on social media.

Next to them during the ceremony stood the bride’s mother, Elizabeth Mozilo. The service was conducted in both Greek and English by Father Alex Karloutsos, the groom’s godfather and a close family friend.

Interestingly, John Catsimatidis Sr. married his wife, Margo, at the same cathedral 36 years ago. The wedding was held in an intimate setting, as just a few days prior, the family opted for an open reception to celebrate the occasion. Among the guests were businessmen Michael Psaros and Yiannis Pagavlas, as well as Dr. Peter Michalos.

After the ceremony, guests gathered at the Pierre Hotel on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, adjacent to Central Park, for the reception. Blossoming trees emerging from the tables and candelabras complemented the stunning décor adorned with thousands of white flowers.

Later in the evening, Greek music followed, with the newlyweds dancing the Syrtaki. Subsequently, “Ikariotiko” by Yiannis Parios played, prompting guests to join in the dance.
