A rare incident occurred earlier in Kainourgio, Agrinio, when a van crashed into a residential yard.

Specifically, the handbrake was released while the vehicle was being refueled at a gas station in Charavgi, causing the vehicle to drive across the Pantelimon-Kainourgio road without a driver, demolish a fence, and crash into the yard of a house.

At the time of the incident, no other vehicles were on the road, where there is usually heavy traffic.
