A passerby discovered a decomposing body among rubble, beneath a bridge, near the Macedonia Intercity Bus Station (KTEL) in Thessaloniki.

According to thestival.gr, the body was found around 1 p.m. on Thursday (January 9).

The police were immediately notified. Officers from the Homicide Department arrived at the scene and ruled out the possibility of foul play.

According to reports, the body belongs to 88-year-old A. N., who had gone missing from Halkidona on November 21, 2024. A silver alert had been issued for his disappearance.
