Eurovision 2025 – Betting odds: Which song is most likely to represent Greece

The countdown has begun — the Greek national final will be broadcast live by ERT on January 30th

Newsroom January 16 10:00

On January 30th, Greece will select its representative for this year’s Eurovision contest in Switzerland. The first favorites have already emerged, with expectations growing and betting odds reflecting the public’s preferences.

On the morning of Friday, January 10th, the 12 songs that will compete in Greece’s national final for Eurovision 2025 were announced, all hoping to secure the coveted “golden ticket” to the grand stage of the competition. The candidates are already attracting attention, and early betting odds offer an initial glimpse into their chances.

Among the 12 finalists, two female artists have captured the spotlight: 22-year-old Klavdia and 32-year-old Evangelia. Klavdia, known for her participation in The Voice of Greece in 2018, is returning to the music scene with her song “Asteromata.”

Inspired by the genocide and displacement of the Pontic Greeks, her song blends modern and ethnic elements, already captivating both the public and critics. Betting odds currently place her in first place, with odds of 1.55.

On the other hand, Evangelia, a Greek-American with roots from Crete, presents the song “Vále.” The track combines traditional Greek rhythms with modern pop influences and has gained momentum. Evangelia is also known for her collaboration with Eleni Foureira on “Fotiá” and her participation in Spotify’s global EQUAL campaign.
