Ministry of Rural Development and Food (ΥΠΑΑΤ): Two-month extension for the improvement plans of 2018 – Absorption reaches 451 million euros

In 2024, 42.5 million euros were paid to beneficiaries for the improvement plans – Submission of the final payment request

A two-month extension for the implementation of the Improvement Plans (Actions 4.1.1 and 4.1.3) of 2018 has been granted by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.

Specifically, it is stipulated that the completion of the physical object and submission of the final payment request may be done up to 59 months from the date when the investment plan is included in the inclusion decision.

For the regions of Thessaly and for the Regional Units of Evros, Fthiotida, Evia, and Rhodes, this period is set at 62 months.

As emphasized, the final payment request cannot be submitted after September 30, 2025.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, regarding the progress of implementing Actions 4.1.1 and 4.1.3, in 2024, 42.5 million euros were paid to the beneficiaries, bringing the total absorption of the invitation to 451 million euros, which is 75% of the overcommitted budget of 600 million euros or 144% of the initial budget of 314 million euros.
