The ceasefire and hostage release agreement in Gaza was welcomed by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in a post on X.

Mitsotakis said the implementation of the agreement “is an important first step towards stability in the wider region.”

“This opportunity should not be lost. Greece is ready to contribute,” he concluded.
