Opinion Poll on the candidacy of Tasoulas for President of the Republic: 59.5% say he can deliver

The candidacy of Tasoulas is more widely accepted with 47.8% against 40.2% for Louka Katseli and 37% for Tasos Giannitsis

The first poll on Konstantinos Tasoulas and his candidacy for President of the Republic following Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ decision was released today by Opinion Poll.

The poll recorded that 59.5 percent of the voters believe that Mr. Tasoulas is capable of fulfilling the role of President of the Republic.

Compared to the candidacies of Louca Katseli and Tasos Giannitsis, Tasoulas candidacy has a wider acceptance with 47.8% compared to 40.2% for Ms Katseli and 37% for Mr Giannitsis.

Especially among those who identify themselves politically as right-wing, the approval rate of Mr Tasoulas rises to 70.8%.

The participants were also asked whether Konstantinos Tasoulas can unite and compose and they answered positively at 45.4%, and whether the candidate for President of the Republic can adequately represent the country and they answered positively at 54%.
