"The situation will continue to be closely monitored and evaluated in full cooperation with local authorities," the Israeli embassy stated

The embassy further stated that “the situation will continue to be closely monitored and evaluated in full cooperation with local authorities.”

Regarding the decision by Israel’s Internal Security Service instructing airlines EL AL, Arkia, and Israir to adjust their flight schedules so that all flights to Cyprus exclusively land at Larnaca Airport rather than Paphos, the Israeli Embassy in Nicosia responded, “In light of various security concerns, a decision was made to temporarily direct Israeli airline flights—to and from Cyprus—to Larnaca.”

The situation, it added, “will continue to be closely monitored and evaluated in full cooperation with local authorities.”
