88-year-old driver responsible for fatal Accident in Neo Psychiko – How the Tragedy Unfolded- View photos (updated)

She lost control of the car, veered into the opposite lane, and plowed through everything in her path – Eyewitnesses describe how she struck cars and motorcycles, leaving one dead and five injured

Chaos erupted on Wednesday afternoon (February 5) in the center of Neo Psychiko following a car accident in Agia Sofia Square.

According to reports, the incident occurred when an 88-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle while driving on a road behind the Pentagon. First, she crashed into a parked car, then veered into the opposite lane, colliding with a van that overturned. The car eventually ended up in the square, where it struck two motorcycles.

As a result, one motorcyclist lost his life, while five others were injured.

“An elderly woman lost control of her SUV and crashed into parked cars. Then, the vehicle went from the downhill lane to the uphill lane. Eventually, it ended up in the square, where it hit the kids on the motorcycle,” a witness recounted.

A car accident occurred at noon on Wednesday (5/2) in the square of Agias Sofias in Neo Psychiko.

According to initial information, a vehicle driven by an elderly woman reversed into a road, and collided with another car as well as 2 motorcycles, resulting in one of the cars being turned over.

One person died and five were injured, vehicular traffic is difficult in the area.
