You take my breath away, Barack Obama wrote on Valentine’s Day and posted a selfie with Michelle with dreadlocks

"If there’s one person I can always count on, it’s you, Barack Obama," wrote Michelle

Newsroom February 14 05:30

To mark Valentine’s Day, Barack Obama took to social media to express his love for Michelle, following recent divorce rumors.

“32 years together, and you still take my breath away. Happy Valentine’s Day, Michelle Obama!” wrote the former U.S. president in his post, which was accompanied by a selfie with his wife—who is seen wearing her hair in rasta braids.

Michelle Obama also shared the same photo on her X account, writing: “If there’s one person I can always count on, it’s you, Barack Obama. You are my rock. You always have been. You always will be. Happy Valentine’s Day, my love!”

The last time the couple was seen together was in early December, when they went out for dinner in Los Angeles.

About a month ago, Barack Obama had posted another photo of himself with Michelle, calling her the “love of his life.”

“Happy birthday to the love of my life, Michelle Obama. You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace—and you look beautiful doing it. I’m so lucky to be facing life’s adventures with you. I love you!” he wrote, alongside a photo of them holding hands.

Obama had attended Jimmy Carter’s funeral and Donald Trump’s second inauguration alone, as Michelle broke with tradition and refused to be present—fueling further speculation about trouble in their marriage.
