The risk assessment committee was convened by the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Vassilis Kikilias, in anticipation of the worsening weather.

The meeting discussed the cold invasion that will start in northern Greece and according to the extraordinary weather report from EMY, will result in a significant drop in terrorism across the country.

Specifically, the committee’s scientists said that from tomorrow Wednesday and for the next few days snowfall, generally light, will occur mainly in the eastern and northern regions of the country.

The Civil Protection Operations Center has contacted the local authorities, security forces, highway concessionaires, etc., so that all stakeholders are fully informed about the upcoming weather phenomena and are in operational readiness.
