Extensive searches are underway in Crete to locate 21-year-old German tourist Johan Wolfgang Williams, who has been missing since Thursday (13.2.2025), during a hiking trip that started from Xyloskalo Omalos towards the gorge of Samaria.

Authorities are scouring the area, conducting searches from air, land and sea.

Helicopters are flying over the area, searching for traces of the 21-year-old.

Weather conditions in the area are not good, which is hampering the search efforts.

The 21-year-old’s brothers and sisters are in Xyloskalo, anxiously watching the efforts of rescuers.
