An elderly woman in a robbery fell victim to Kypseli when a man attacked her and snatched a bag containing 100,000 euros.

She had picked up the money from the bank and when she entered the entrance of the apartment, she was attacked by a man, according to The STAR.

“I had 100,000 euros. I had gone to the bank and when I came out I looked right, left, back,” she said. As she described it, she was waiting for the elevator when “a tall, black man” came in and grabbed her purse. “Once I came to, I couldn’t walk, I was passed out, I was in pain and I couldn’t see,” she added.

Residents in the area reported that there have been other similar incidents, “In my apartment building something similar happened. They followed a woman from the bank, took her to the basement of the apartment building, and beat her up. Something has to change.”
