Nikos Dendias: The announcements on the increases for the members of the Greek armed forces

The increases will be given in three phases over the coming months

Newsroom March 28 12:24

The increases from 13% to 20% – depending on the rank and position of responsibility – that will be given this year to the officers of the Hellenic Armed Forces were announced by the Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias.

As the Minister of Defense explained about the significant, as he characterized them, increases that are given following the approval of the Prime Minister and in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, will begin on April 1, 2025 and will be completed on October 1, with the total cost being 268 million euros, with 60% of this support coming from the rationalization of the structures from the 2030 Agenda

Our country needs the best and this is not achieved for free, the Minister of Defense concluded.
