Marc poll: 73.4% call for a tougher stance on migration

Economy with 43.7% and Daily Life with 41.1% are the strongest criteria of the vote in the elections - Followed by Political Stability 23.4% and Tempi with 21.2% - What kind of government do citizens want - How the voters of the parties are positioned for the partnerships

A stronger stance on immigration is called for by the vast majority of citizens, according to the second part of the poll, conducted by MARC, presented on ANT1’s main newscast.

Asked about Greece’s stance on immigration, 73.4 percent want Greece’s stance to be stricter, 13.4 percent want it to be what it is today, and 7.7 percent want it to be less strict. 5.5% did not answer.

When asked about the criteria by which people would choose a party, the majority (43.7%) said they would choose based on the economy and standard of living.

41.1% of the people would choose based on the improvement of everyday life (health, education, security, etc.), 23.4% based on political stability, 21.2% based on the Tempi affair, 19% based on improving the functioning of institutions and the state, and 16.1% would vote based on the face of the leader.

In addition, a 5.2% based on the support of the party that people feel closest to, 3.5% with a desire to “bring down” the government, from close to 3.1% to thus indicate their protest vote, while 2.2% of the responses were “Other” and “DX/DA”.

Asked which of the following governments would be better for the country and its citizens to emerge in the next parliamentary elections, 28.5% answered that a cooperation between PASOK, SYRIZA – Eleftherias Eleftherias – New Left would be better. 23.8% said that a self-reliant New Democracy would be better, 10.7% thought that a cooperation between New Democracy and PASOK would be better for the country, 9.3% thought that a cooperation between New Democracy and smaller right-wing parties would be better, 12.7% thought that another option would be more advantageous for the country, and 15.1% answered “no”.

On “what government they want based on voting intention,” the results extracted from the poll are as follows:

The majority of the voters of the New Democracy (ND) want an independent ND
The majority of SYRIZA voters want cooperation between PASOK – SYRIZA, Eleftherias – and New Left

PASOK voters are divided, and 38.3% want cooperation between PASOK – SYRIZA – Plyusi Eleftherias – Nea Aristora, while 27.7% want cooperation between ND – PASOK
