Criminal charges of premeditated murder filed against the 21-year-old who killed his mother in Larissa
A charge of premeditated murder in a calm mental state has been brought against the 21-year-old who murdered his mother in Larissa. Additionally, he has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm, weapon use, and drug possession. He has been given a deadline to appear in court on Friday.

Meanwhile, his 22-year-old cousin—who has also been given a deadline to appear in court tomorrow, Wednesday—and with whom they attempted to transport the 52-year-old woman’s body, wrapped in a sheet and a blanket, has been charged with aiding a criminal.

According to police investigations, the 21-year-old was not shaken by the fact that he had killed his own mother; he spent hours thinking about how to dispose of her body and even cleaned the house to hide the evidence. Reports indicate that the unfortunate woman was stabbed in the chest and abdomen by her son. The same sources say that the 21-year-old used a knife with a 10-centimeter blade to kill the 52-year-old before discarding it in a trash bin along with her personal belongings.

The argument over finances
From what is known so far, the 21-year-old stabbed his mother to death following a dispute over money, as she reportedly accused him of not supporting the household they had set up three months earlier at a house on Leonidou Street.

Neighbors heard the 52-year-old calling for help just before 5 a.m., and then there was silence.

In his statements to the police, the 21-year-old—who will be charged with murder—tried to justify his action by saying, “She hated me, that’s why I killed her.”
