Turkish businessman savagely beats a Turkish beauty on a yacht in Mykonos

When he noticed the presence of the coastguards he tried to escape - He had a pending Red Notice

Newsroom June 10 06:34

A well-known Turkish businessman is in the custody of the Syros port authority, and a case has been filed against him for domestic violence.

He is accused of assaulting and beating his wife on June 4 inside his luxury yacht. A Red Notice was pending against the 38-year-old as he had been convicted of more than 14 years in the Smyrna court.

Port officials witnessed the beating

It all started when, during a patrol by a Coast Guard float in the “Platys Gialos” sea area, it was discovered that on board the yacht, flagged by Great Britain, owned by the 38-year-old businessman, the 42-year-old wife had been the victim of a wild beating. According to port officials, the 42-year-old woman had visible facial injuries from the beating she had received from her husband.

The businessman, when he became aware of the presence of the coastguard, tried to flee the area, with the coastguard launching a manhunt to locate him. At the same time, they informed the police. For several hours, the 38-year-old managed to escape arrest. Finally, at noon on June 5, the coastguards handcuffed the accused within the limits of the auto-custody.

The 42-year-old left for Turkey

The 42-year-old Turkish beauty, after the brutal beating she suffered from her husband, was transferred the same evening, June 4, to the Mykonos health center, where she was offered first aid. At the same time, she was informed about the structures that exist for women victims of domestic violence, with her not wishing to be transferred to any of them as she intends to return to Turkey.

Businessman denies everything

In their statement to the coast guard men, the 38-year-old Turkish businessman denied that he committed violence against his wife and is expected to be brought before the judicial authorities in the coming days.

However, during the fingerprinting of the businessman in Mykonos, it was found that the 38-year-old is wanted as a fugitive by the Turkish authorities, as a Red Notice of International Search has been issued against him since February 2025. The 38-year-old has been sentenced by the 5th Smyrna High Court to 14 years and two months for the offences of robbery and slander.
