Kir Starmer will meet Donald Trump in Scotland at the end of July

The US President will pay a private visit to Scotland, where he has two golf courses - He will return to the UK in September for an official visit

Meeting with US President Donald Trump will be held in late July by Kir Starmer, as announced by Downing Street 10.

The meeting will take place in Scotland. DonaldTrump will be making a private visit as he owns two golf courses.

“The White House has confirmed that President Trump will make a private visit to Scotland later this month.” said a spokesman for Starmer.

“Since this is a private visit, there will be no formal bilateral meeting, but the prime minister has gladly agreed to meet the president during his stay,” he added. The visit has not been officially confirmed by the White House.

Official visit Trump

Trump will pay an official visit to the UK on the weekend of September 17-19, at the invitation of King Charles. He will be accompanied by his wife, Melania, and will be received at Windsor Castle, Buckingham announced.

Official visits to Britain are organised at the suggestion of the government.
