Dimitris Tsiodras calls for EU support for the Greek agri-food sector if US tariffs are imposed

The MEP and spokesman of the New Democracy's Eurogroup asks the Commission whether, in the framework of the negotiations with the US, the necessary emphasis has been given to the needs and interests of this sector and whether there are plans for support measures

And he concludes by stressing that these dollars add to a number of challenges that the agri-food sector has to manage, such as the impact of the climate crisis on harvest and production.
